Google launched Chrome 6
Google has launched a new version of its browser.
Chrome 6 is claimed to be three times faster than the first beta version which was launched two years ago.
Other changes to the 'stripped-down browser' include the two previous menus combined into one.
The button locations and the background colour have also been adjusted.
In a blog post, Brian Rakowski, Chrome Product Manager says: 'As always, we're hard at work on making Chrome even faster, and working on ways to improve graphics performance in the browser through hardware acceleration.’
Chrome 5 users will receive an update to the 'tweaked' version 6 automatically
