T-Mobile Finally Getting Blackberry Curve, With 3G
The currently best-selling Blackberry device in the US is finally getting 3G support on T-Mobile almost a year after it was first made available to other providers like Sprint and AT&T.
The Curve, also known by model number 9300, will be coming to T-Mobile on September 8, available for $80. That's a good price, but some retailers offer the Curve on other service providers for free with a new service agreement.
The Curve 3G has a 2-megapixel camera, 256 MB of internal memory, and a 624 MHz processor. It also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS functionality built-in.
T-Mobile says that the device will later receive an over-the-air update to Blackberry 6, the platform that launched earlier this month on the Blackberry Torch and is trying to compete with Android and the iPhone's iOS.
